Environmental Process Systems (Asia Pacific) Limited (“EPSAP” or “The Company”) was incorporated under the Companies Ordinance of Hong Kong SAR in November of 2016. EPSAP was founded solely by Mr. Kevin Lee and become its sole shareholder and sole director since incorporation. Subsequently, Ms. Yvonne Lau Ngar Yee was appointed as a director of the company. Mr. Kevin Lee whose mentor is Mr. Zafer Ure whom he has known for more than 15 years. Mr. Ure is the Founder and Chairman of Environmental Process Systems Limited in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom (“EPSUK”). He learned his trade in the Phase Change Material Thermal Energy Storage (“PCM-TES”) from Mr. Ure who is an expert in the field of PCM-TES. Kevin and his team in China has successfully purpose-built a few PCM production facilities in Mainland China and one of which has acquired the “National High Technology Enterprise” certification. Subsequently Mr. Lee has further researched in this subject area and together with his team have significantly improved the production process in certain areas.

Major business activities of the company is as follows:

Procurement of essential chemicals for the manufacturing of CORE CHEMICAL.

The supply of CORE CHEMICAL to companies/manufacturers of Phase Change Materials (“PCM”).

Transfer of technical know-how and the assistance in the setting up of PCM manufacturing facility including the procurement of essential hardware, software, CORE CHEMICAL and other necessary locally made non-core chemicals and testing machine as well as the proprietary production process and other technical know-how which ensure the PCM produced fulfill the standard requirement set up by EPS in the UK.

Definition of CORE CHEMICAL: is a mixture of several inorganic chemicals based on a proprietary formulation which is an essential chemical for the manufacturing of Phase Change Materials (PCM)

Definition of Phase Change Materials (PCM): In simple terms, PCM can be described as mixtures of chemicals having freezing and melting points above or below the water freezing temperature of 0°C (32°F). They are ideal products for thermal management solutions as they store and release thermal energy during the process of melting & freezing (changing from one phase to another). When such a material freezes, it releases large amounts of energy in the form of latent heat of fusion, or energy of crystallization. Conversely, when the material is melted, an equal amount of energy is absorbed from the immediate environment as it changes from solid to liquid.

We set up the manufacturing operation and transfer of technology know-how to the clients and then we supply CORE CHEMICALS to our clients for the manufacturing of PCM for Thermal Energy Storage (PCM-TES) purpose. We also provide technical support to our clients in China. Our clients then set up then energy storage systems for the energy end-users. Occasionally we have to perform and site visit of the energy end-users and to provide consulting works to our clients.
